It’s been more than two months since Maideasy started operations after the movement control order. We are seeing bookings are back although not at the fullest capacity. Our cleaners have started resuming to clean their recurring customers’ homes and are slowly taking new bookings. They are being more cautious when entering a customer’s home, ensuring they wear a mask and encouraged to wear gloves too. Our customer support team are available to assist in matters concerning the bookings. They are just a phone call away.
Although we are not at 100% pre-MCO levels, we are doing what we can to increase the cleaning crew available for bookings. We should see a steady increase in the amount of supply for the next few months as we are putting more resources in recruiting more cleaners to the Maideasy platform.
On another note, we are doing more awareness to further promote Maideasy. Maideasy is your choice not only for high quality cleaning standards, but a conscious decision to support a company that chooses to hire 100% local Malaysians as the cleaning crew. Our core mission is to bring dignity to the domestic services industry as well as retain the income from cleaning to be within the Malaysian economy.
It’s almost a year since I took over Azrul Rahim in managing the team at Maideasy. It’s been a tough journey for me where I spent a lot of my time learning how to effectively manage a team that handles thousands of bookings in a month. I would like the Maideasy story to resonate deeply to those who uses Maideasy and for the cleaning crew to find independence and confidence in moving up from their current situation.
We have navigated the Covid-19 pandemic with bravery and consistency. It’s a lesson for us in going through the tough times in business and in life. I would like to thank my team for always being on stand by and giving more than what we asked for. Now it’s time to steer the business to back what it was before and grow even further.
Lastly, thank you for thinking of us after the MCO. We have received many returning customers who booked their sessions once we opened for business. Maideasy will continually provide good service and stay true to our core mission in doing good to the community.
